Exercise Physiology

Accredited exercise physiologists (AEPs) hold a four-year university degree and are allied health professionals who specialise in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic diseases, injuries and disability.

AEPs perform functional assessments; carry out sub-maximal and maximal fitness tests; perform musculoskeletal assessments; and provide lifestyle education to help people manage their health conditions.

Please see information below on our Adult and Child specific Exercise Physiology Programs at Team Elite Physio.

Adult Programs:

At Team Elite Physio our Accredited Exercise Physiologists provide exercise programs for clients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, mental health problems, cancer, arthritis, pulmonary disease and more.

Our AEP’s will firstly assess your current health and identify any area’s for improvement. They will then develop an exercise program based on your goals and medical condition. Our AEP’s will work closely with your GP and other allied health professionals to maximize your health and wellbeing.

AEPs are eligible to register with Medicare Australia, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and WorkCover and are recognised by most private health insurers.
